Your Privacy Choices and State Privacy Rights

This page explains the personal information Green Touch Industries ("GTI," "we," "us") collects through trailerracks.com, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What We Collect

  • Contact and order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, order details and payment information (card data is handled by our payment processors).
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, products viewed, search terms and cookie data, collected through Shopify and Google Analytics 4.
  • Advertising and conversion data: information about whether a visit led to a purchase or other action, collected through Google Ads conversion tracking and Shopify pixels.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or phone, including warranty and support requests.

Why We Use It

We use personal information to process and ship orders, take payments, prevent fraud, provide support and warranty service, communicate with you, understand how the Site is used, improve it, measure our advertising, and comply with legal obligations.

Who Receives It

We share information with service providers who help us operate: Shopify (store, checkout and Shop Pay), payment processors, FedEx and USPS (delivery), and Google (Analytics 4, Google Ads and Merchant Center). The Site also links to Meta, TikTok and YouTube; those services have their own privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

We Do Not Sell for Money

GTI does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Analytics and Advertising Technologies

Our Site uses analytics and advertising technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Shopify pixels. Under some state privacy laws, the use of these technologies may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or "targeted advertising." If you prefer that we not use your information this way, you may opt out using the instructions below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
  • delete your personal information, with certain exceptions;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to Make a Request

Email info@greentouch.com or call (561) 659-5525 (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern). Tell us which right you want to use and the state where you live. To opt out of sharing or targeted advertising, send us an email saying so. We do not currently offer an automatic opt-out tool on the Site; opt-out requests are made by email and we will honor them.

Verifying Your Identity

To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm details such as your name, email address or a recent order number before we act on an access, deletion or correction request. We will only use that information to verify your request.

Response Time

We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time, we may extend that period once as permitted by law, and we will tell you why.

Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask for proof that you gave the agent permission, and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Appeals

If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing info@greentouch.com with "Appeal" in the subject line within a reasonable time after our response. We will respond to your appeal in writing within the time required by your state's law and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, such as to fulfill orders, honor warranties, meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. After that we delete or de-identify it.

Children

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
